If it comes from someone who is paid by the maker of the product than the review is probably biased in some way.
Most people who professionally review products are paid by someone. In order to find out if the review you are reading is legitimate or biased you will have to do some checking. You can do this by looking at where the review comes from. The bottom of most webpages have the name of who owns the site and when the site was made. Before trusting a review you should take a look at this information.
When reading reviews written by other consumers regardless of where you find it you also have to remember that a single bad review does not mean a bad product. Check all of the reviews written. Some sites have a combination of reviewer commentary. This is sometimes pictured in stars or is a percentage. No matter what you are buying make sure that you check it out in a library, bookstore, or online before you buy.
